The GP2040-CE RP2040 Basic Breakout Board – Passthrough is designed as an affordable solution for running GP2040-CE firmware.
The Passthrough version includes an additional USB port on the side, allowing authentication support for PS4, PS5, and Xbox via passthrough authentication. For more details about PS5 compatibility, please refer to the GP2040-CE website.
You can find the pre-compiled .UF2 firmware file for the RP2040 Basic Breakout Board in the GP2040-CE release section under:

This configuration will continue to be maintained as long as the project remains active, and the pinout will stay unchanged. If future versions of the board are released, they will be listed separately as different hardware entries.
Since this board uses the same pinout as the Advanced Breakout Board, you can also use the same .UF2 firmware.
