The Sanwa Denshi JLX is Sanwa’s latest joystick lever, featuring several major improvements over the previous JLF model.

Key Features & Improvements

Material & Construction

POM Base
The JLX base has been upgraded to POM (Polyacetal Resin), providing better resistance to temperature and humidity changes. This improves joystick consistency and long-term durability.

Nylon Bearing
The pivot bearing material has been changed from POM to nylon, offering better abrasion resistance and smoother movement.

Design & Accuracy

Upgraded Actuator
JLX uses a wider actuator compared to the previous model, improving dimensional stability and input accuracy.

New Microswitch PCB
JLX features the new XTP-MA microswitch board with OMRON switches mounted on a new CEM-3 PCB. This design offers improved durability and better resistance to bending or misalignment over time.

Compatibility & Modding

GT-8X Restrictor Plate
The JLX comes with the GT-8X restrictor plate, featuring a snap-lock insert system to reduce wobble. It is compatible with various guide inserts from the GTN series.

Accessories Compatibility
Many accessories from the JLF series remain compatible with JLX, including ball tops and bat tops, using standard M6 threading.
